People sure are going crazy over this product. I mean, you pretty much have to be crazy to spend around $50 for 6.8 oz of deep conditioner. I mean who would do that? Well I did... but who else?
Karastase is a basic deep conditioner. It's claim is it adds moisture to hair, helps repair damaged hair, and maintain healthy hair. I am sure somewhere in the description it probably includes that it adds shine as most hair products claim that. The smell is descent I suppose. It isn't on the thick side (not that, that honestly makes a product good or bad).
I first took a shower and washed my hair. I then towel dried and added the product to my hair. I made sure the separate my hair into layers as to evenly distribute the product. I then sat with the heating cap for 30 minutes to an hour before rinsing out.
This is another hard rating. If this was a normal deep conditioner that cost $20 and under I would probably give it 8 out of 10. But the truth is this product is way to expensive. It does what most deep conditioners do! It made my hair soft and it was nice. My hair wasn't split end free. It didn't work a miracle. I just don't understand where they get the price for this product. There is nothing in it that cost that much. So in my opinion save your money and get a cheaper deep conditioner. This product gets a 6 out of 10 from me for price vs. effectiveness.
On a side note I wanted to add that I gave this product a fair chance. I waited till I finished it before giving this review to see if I was possibly missing something the first few times using it.
